After storming out of her marriage in Los Angeles, Alice heads home to Canada with her dog. On her first night, her dog disappears into the Arizona desert. Now Alice must appeal to the kindness of Animal Control to help her without letting them discover the truth about Alice and Sassy’s dubious past.

Come see this comedy that asks whether every dog deserves a second chance or if every person deserves a dog. This is for everyone who knows that life isn’t worth much without your furry heartbreaker by your side. If you’ve ever had to sacrifice your need for a pet because of love or money, you’ll want to see this show.

The play deals with our longing for love, home and family and our doubts about whether we are worthy of any of it. Spoiler Alert: The dog doesn’t die.

A portion of all ticket sales will go to the Winnipeg Humane Soceity.
Friday, July 28th performance at 7:45, we will be collecting donations on behalf of the Humane Society and will match donations up to $500
